

Pulsation Dampener
Brief introduction The pulsation dampener is usually installed on the discharge pipeline in order to reduce the pressure and displacement fluctuation of the drilling mud. The suction-type pulsation dampener made by our company features advanced structure and reliable performance, which helps the mud pump achieve its best operation. It is widely used in high pressure pipelines for liquid transfer in petroleum and chemical industry. The buffering chamber can absorb the pressure peak of the high pressure liquid in the mud pump, stabilize the pressure, and reduce loss. In addition, this product can also be used as a stabilizer and a vibration reducer for the air exhauster.
Installed on the mud pump The pulsation dampener installed on the discharge pipeline can absorb the pressure peak of the high pressure liquid inside the mud pump and function as the stabilizer to reduce loss, ensure safety and realizes the best suction effect of the mud pump.
Discharge buffering The pulsation dampener installed at the discharge end of pump and compressor will avoid fatigue failure to the cylinder piston, valve, machine base and pipeline due to pressure fluctuation and prolong the equipment service life.
Surge absorption In the liquid system, opening of valves or sudden closing of valves caused by pressure impact will bring about water hammer, which in turn will break the pipe and the pipe seat and damage the equipment down stream. However, equipped with pulsation dampener will absorb the impact and avoid damage.
Reverse surge When the water head pressure reaches a certain height, the reverse surge caused by the liquid rushing into the pump cylinder will result in the sudden closing of the valve. The suction pulsation dampener will absorb part of surge.
Energy storing Owing to the unique design of this device, energy can be stored when used in water press, which is useful for providing certain amount of energy to rotating sprayer boosting lubricant. Hence, the pulsation dampener can prevent lubricant discontinuation, which cause the costly nozzle failed.
